With a hint of Portal and some merging of The Turing Test, Re:Touring looks to tease your puzzling mind.Â
Available right now on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC is Re:Touring. A game in which you’ll look to solve interesting puzzles, all whilst uncovering the history of Luoni Energy, this is a first person puzzler that will feel instantly familiar.Â
Inspired by Portal
See, Sometimes You and Malte Weiß have obviously used the likes of Portal – Portal 2 being one of the greatest games of all-time – and The Turing Test as a bit of inspiration. It’s here where you’ll be tasked with working your way through some 26 levels of puzzling madness, exploring the Luoni Energy Competence Center as you go.Â
Priced at £8.39, Re:Touring will have you thinking outside of the box, looking to patterns to the the play, making the most of various colours as you do so. Your goal? to ultimately escape.
It all works well though. We’ve spent a decent amount of time with Re:Touring on Xbox Series X|S already, pushing out a review in the process. We gave it a 4/5 in review, concluding with the following…
“Re:Touring is like sitting down with a good puzzle book, with no worries about time constraints, nor rushed to come up with the right answers.”
Key features
- Think outside the box – In addition to familiar puzzle elements, the centerpiece of the game is the retro computer that generates color patterns. While in the beginning you only create simple patterns to open a door for example, in the later game you automate many elements at the same time to make your way through the levels.
- Lets go on an adventure – Explore the abandoned Luoni Energy Competence Center through environmental story telling between each of the puzzles and uncover the history of Luoni Energy and their motivations.
- Accessibility – In addition to different color palettes for visual impairments and closed captions that describe audio, there is also a hint system that gives clues to the current puzzle or can solve it completely.

Whilst you’ll find Re:Touring on the digital storefronts of PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, we guess you’re mostly here for the Xbox edition.
That comes in a few flavours, but the Xbox Series X|S optimised version is probably your best call. Get a download of it from the Xbox Store for £8.39.Â
