You read that right, those memorable characters from the original Alien film by Ridley Scott have reunited to be available via pre-order DLC for Alien: Isolation.
If you’ve pre-ordered or are going to pre-order Alien: Isolation anywhere in the UK then you’ll be upgraded for free to a Nostromo Edition which includes bonus content in the form of “Crew Expendable”. Players can play as one of three crewmembers from a choice of Ellen Ripley, Dallas or Parker just moments after Brett’s death. You will be able to explore the Nostromo from the habitation deck down whilst co-ordinating with Lambert and Ash in an attempt to lure the Alien into the ship’s airlock.
That sounds decent enough but hold on… there’s more. By pre-ordering at certain retailers you’ll also gain access to “Last Survivor” where you get to play as Ripley trying to escape the Narcissus. Players will have to navigate their way through the Nostromo to activate the self-destruct sequence and then track back to the Narcissus shuttle to escape.
Alien: Isolation is available on Xbox 360 and Xbox One on the 7th October 2014.
