Storm Season is rolling into Forza Horizon 5, and with it dawns a whole new week’s worth of Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges in Series 32 Autumn, mainly focusing on the racing, which makes me jolly happy!
We are now about 40% of the way towards getting the reward cars of Series 32, all for completing enough races, which is really not bad in a week, so well done guys. Keep it up…
For now though let’s dive into Horizon Race Off and see what is in store with the Weekly Challenges for Series 32 Autumn.
Part 1: Weekly Car Challenge – Double Numbers
This week’s challenge gives us a choice of two cars – A 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport 454 or a Renault 5 Turbo. With the Renault’s reputation for blowing head gaskets, I guess I’ll go for the Chevy!
Pick your poison and we can then crack on.
Should you not have one in your garage, then they are available in the Autoshow, at 80,000 and 120,000 credits respectively. 120,000 for a Renault! Bonkers.
Chapter 1 – Muscle vs Rally
Get in your new car, take it for a spin. Step one complete.
Chapter 2 – Rough and Tumble
Now we need to earn 10 Ultimate Wreckage skills in Tierra Prospera. Smash into all the things you can find! Tierra Prospra is just north of the Street Scene Outpost.
Chapter 3 – Zooming in on Speed
Now we need to earn three stars at a speed zone. I tuned my Chevy up a bit for the offroad bits, so look for Chevelle as a share name with my GT, Red620Ti.
Chapter 4 – Crossing the Streets
Now we have to win either an off road or an on road race in our car.
Use the same tune as above to do this easily.
Complete these tasks and we will be five points closer to the seasonal prizes that are up for grabs with Forza Horizon 5’s Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges for Series 32.
Part 2: Weekly Challenges, Championships and PR Stunts
So, with the weekly challenge done and dusted, let’s dive into the rest of the mayhem on offer.
The Trial, no Eventlab (yay), PR Stunts and no less than four Seasonal Championships this week!
The Trial – We Don’t Need Roads!
This week we need an A Class 800 American car, and there is a fair bit of choice.
I went for a Ford Mustang Boss 302, tuned for off road as it appears to be a dirt championship. The share code is 144740677.
The prize for managing to find people who actually want to race The Trial like it should be done is a McLaren GT.
PR Stunt 1 – Danger Sign – Runway
We need an S2 Class car for this, and what better than a BMW X5M FE? Share code for mine is: 519084427.
We need to clear 600m, which is also known as “a long way” in the trade. Hit the ramp at over 175 mph to do it.
Do so and you’ll find a Super Wheelspin heading your way in return.
PR Stunt 1 – Drift Zone – Reservoir
S2 998 class car again, and some sliding to do – 260,000 points worth, to be exact. Stock Hoonigan Hoonicorn will do the job well.
Take away yet another Super Wheelspin. I now have over 70 of these saved up – I just can’t be bothered!
Seasonal Championship 1 – Hatchback into Action
We need to use a Retro Hot Hatch, tuned to only C Class 600 for this event. I chose a stock Civic type R from 2004, as it is already at the tuning limit.
For winning out, we can take home a Jeep Trailcat.
Seasonal Championship 2 – Jeep, Jeep, Coming Through
We need to use a Jeep here, believe it or not, and tuned to B Class 700. I went with a Grand Cherokee SRT, and the share name is SRT with my GT, Red620Ti.
The prize for winning is a Cadillac ATS-V.
Seasonal Championship 3 – Triple C
We need a car from the 1970’s for this set of races, and the tuning limit is C Class 600. I chose a Camaro Z28 from 1970, share code : 119440576.
A Jaguar F-Pace S is the reward.
Seasonal Championship 4 – Unlimited Power
We need an Unlimited Off Road vehicle here, tuned to A Class 800, and the Jeep Trailcat is the answer. Share code for mine is 118411445.
For winning out, we can get a Lotus Elan.
Part 3: Other Challenges
There’s always more to get involved in than just the racing, and that is the case again this week with Series 32 Autumn. A Photo Challenge, a Treasure Hunt, Collectibles and some Playground Games fun to get busy with.
Photo Challenge – #TOPDOG
We have to photograph a hypercar at the Hotel Castillo Santa Cecilia this week, so pick one and get snap happy.
Enjoy my artistic effort up at the top of this piece. The location? That’s below.
The reward? A new emote, Surf’s Up.
Treasure Hunt – Rind the Bend
The clue this week reads “Upgrades taste sweet as you Peel around corners and drift into triple stardom!”.
The photo shows a Peel P50 drifting, so I guess we need to score 3 stars at drift zones to win? I’ve tuned mine a tad, share code is: 908526178.
The chest contains 100FP. See below for its location.
Collectibles – Rally to Swim
We need to smash a few things this week. I’ll stick a picture of what and where below for your perusal.
We get a new Forzalink phrase “Too soon, Junior”. Straight out of Fast and Furious, I might well use this one!
Playground Games – Keeping the Crown
A bit of light game playing here, and it is Team King that we are going to be playing. Keep the crown indeed!
We need an off road S2 Class 998 car for this, so the BMW X5M FE? Share code for mine is : 519084427.
We will win a new song for taking part, Odesza – A Moment Apart. Groovy.
Part 4: Hot Wheels Events
If you have the Hot Wheels expansion and are an Elite Level player, then you get to enjoy a couple of extra events.
Seasonal PR Stunt – Speed Trap – Dragon’s Fall
Get in an S2 998 car and get speedy! We need to hit over 250 mph to clear this, and so it calls for the Koenigsegg Agera RS with a Share code of: 109282883.
A Super Wheelspin is your reward.
Seasonal Championship – Like my old Video Games!
Classic and Retro Rally cars are required this week, and the tuning is B Class 700. Maybe Tepid Wheels instead of Hot Wheels?
Anyway, I went with a Toyota Celica GT4 STY185, and the share code is : 993344317.
Completing the championship will get us a Holden Sandman.
Part 5: Rally Adventure Events
The Rally Adventure expansion brings even more events to the roster and provided you are already a Horizon Badlands champion, you’ll get access to the following couple of events…
Seasonal PR Stunt -Danger Sign – Dunes
Get ready to go in an S2 Class car, any S2 Class car, as you look to soar over 250 m to win.
What could be more suitable than a BMW X5M FE? Share code for mine is : 519084427.
The prize is another Super Wheelspin. I’ll be in triple figures with these soon.
Seasonal Championship – Making Tracks
For this event, it is a Modern Rally car, tuned to B Class 700. Time for the trusty Evo VIII MR then. The Share code you want is: 141172186.
For winning either solo or in a convoy, it is a Subaru WRX’05 that we can win.
The rewards for Series 32 and Autumn in Forza Horizon 5
With Series 32 now well underway, those new season reward cars are up for grabs. And they are the #2 Audi S1 for 80 points and a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder for 160. Start saving up!
Even more Rivals circuits have now been added with Series 32 as well. There is River Scramble and Vista Del Mar Sprint, which does mean that there are only two to go at this month. Put in a clean lap in each to score 4 whole points towards the prize cars.
Grab enough points and Series 32 Autumn also sees you given access to the exclusive Audi TT RS’20 for 20 points. Additionally, for 40 points we can get a Honda Trophy ‘15, a hard to find car apparently.
To enjoy these events in the Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges, you’ll need a copy of Forza Horizon 5. It’s available on Game Pass, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC and on the cloud via mobile. The Xbox Store will sort you out with a download.
Let us know in the comments if I have helped, hindered or missed the mark with these tunes.
