Go back in time with Medieval Dynasty on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and win Game Code

For the most part we are used to game developers releasing new-gen versions of existing games, but every now and then things go the other way and we see Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 exclusive titles roll back to the older-gen. That’s the case as we get to go back in time with Medieval Dynasty on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. 

Releasing on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC back in 2022, Medieval Dynasty offered up new-gen players the chance to work their way through a huge 3D open world, one in which multiple genres played out. There was a bit of survival, as we attempted to harness the harsh winters of the land, whilst Role Playing and Strategy calls continued to come to the fore. 

We were fairly well taken with it too, and whilst we’d have preferred some tighter console controls and menus, for the most part Medieval Dynasty was – and still is – a game that could provide hours of gameplay, some nice crafting elements and a wonderful medieval world. A 3.5/5 review score seemed to fit well. 

But whilst Medieval Dynasty made the most of Game Pass, it was limited to those on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. Until now at least. 

See, Render Cube and TopLitz Productions have now pushed Medieval Dynasty to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 too, allowing a swathe of players to get involved. Coming complete with all existing updates and content, they promise the same scope and replayability on those older consoles as you would expect to find on the newer machines. 

You’ll find it available today from the Xbox Store for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S via Game Pass if you wish, on PlayStation and on PC. And what’s more, those behind it are promising that the highly anticipated cooperative mode will be releasing on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC later this year.
