Shadow of the Erdtree is FromSoftware’s largest Elden Ring expansion to date, offering players the opportunity to explore new areas, and die repeatedly to all new enemies!
Welcome to the Land of Shadow
Available now for all Elden Ring fans on Xbox, PlayStation and PC, Shadow of the Erdtree sees you enter the Land of Shadow, featuring all new enemies, weapons and equipment to discover.
As always, Elden Ring thrives on the thrill of taking down the hardest of enemies – and don’t worry, Shadow of the Erdtree has those by the masses!
Take a look at the trailer for this expansion at the foot of this article, but be warned that details regarding Shadow of the Erdtree are pretty thin on the ground. Classic FromSoftware – we all get majorly hyped for the latest instalment in the lore, but simultaneously have very little understanding of exactly what is going on! All we know is that we’ll be seeking out Miquella and his followers in a new storyline, delving into the darkest depths of the Elden Ring lore.
Regardless, expect a brand new challenge in a brand new land, where brand new controllers will most likely need to be bought.
