Medieval Defenders: A Knight in Shining Xbox Armor?

Medieval Defenders is the latest from a super prolific 8floor Games team – and it’s now on Xbox. 

We don’t have enough fingers to count up the sheer number of different gaming series’ that have come out of the 8floor Games team. Just believe us when we say it’s ‘a lot’. It comes as no real surprise then to see another new series land on Xbox. We’re guessing very little changes from the plethora of others either; you know, games like New Lands and the Gnomes Garden series.

Tactical tower defense

Available right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S is Medieval Defenders. It’s priced at £8.39 and looks to follow the usual 8floor methodology – micro managing, a bit of tower defense, some throwaway story chucked in on top. 

This one sees you taking control of a castle master. It’s here where you’ll get to build up your very own unique castle walls, creating structures capable of holding back any invader. And invaders are exactly what is on the cards in Medieval Defenders.

Utilising various cannons and towers will be the name of the game here, as well as making the most of a multitude of spells and strategic calls too. When you consider that every man and their dog wants a piece of your land, you’re going to have to start thinking tactically.
