Nearly two years on from its original release on Steam, Pedra Crystal Caves is an old-school puzzling adventure inspired by the likes of Spindizzy. Do you have the brain-power to make it all the way through this platformer?
They See Me Rollin’
Now available on Xbox consoles for the first time, Tucasoft’s Pedra Crystal Caves is a psychedelic isometric puzzle title in which you roll through each level, painting all of the required tiles to finish the stage.
Along the way, you’ll come across falling glass tiles, exploding bomb tiles, and the ‘Meanies’ – Pushers, Growers and Stingers who all look to halt you in their own special way.
You’ll also need to pick up special bonus tiles, which will unlock Crystals. Spend Crystals to upgrade your own block. Finally, upgrade tiles will grant you temporary upgrades – a helping hand in a particularly devious level.
48 levels, played either as a solo player or in local-coop – get rolling!

Pedra Crystal Caves is a ‘just one more go’ platformer where you have to find all the key tiles which open the exit door to each cave.
Inspired by classic retro games such as Boulderdash, Spindizzy and Bounder, you can find the special bonus tiles to earn Crystals which can be redeemed to upgrade your player block.
Add special features like painting on multiple sides, double-radius painting and bomb-block painting as well as a range of other stylistic goodies to choose from.
Gain temporary upgrades to your player block by painting the upgrade tiles scattered throughout each cave.
But it’s not all nice and easy – lurking in the caves are the ‘Meanies’ – Pushers, Growers and Stinger – bad guys that are out to get you.
Single player or local co-op.
