Platforming, but different
First up, we’ve got the traditional platforming, as we look to make our way through a strange world. But added to that is a bit of drilling. Yep, drilling. And don’t think of this driller as similar to that found in Mr. DRILLER DrillLand, this one simple mechanic moves things more into Ecco the Dolphin territory.
Yep, in Pepper Grinder you’ll be found taking charge of the titular Pepper, as she heads out looking for adventures new. With Grinder – he powerful drilling device – by her side, the world is pretty much her oyster. And that oyster? Yeah, full of treasures and gems.
Navigating the world is key to Pepper Grinder, as is drilling your way through that world, much like a dolphin is able to swim through water. Fluidity is key, but so is the opportunity to leap through the air, grinding through that world, causing chaos and solving puzzles.
We’re not sure we’ve ever played too much that is like Pepper Grinder, but you can be sure we’ll be putting it through the usual review process, all in hope of dropping some thoughts.
