We don’t know how they do it, but 8floor Games are back with another new game. This time it’s the debut of a new franchise too, as DayD: Tower Rush sets up home on Xbox.

If you’re familiar with how the Xbox Store works, then you’ll have noticed a ton of games pop up from 8floor over the last year or so. They’ve done it with various series – Gnomes Garden, Argonauts Agency, New Lands – but have recently moved away slightly from the micro-managing mechanics and into tower defense. That first came about via Royal Defense as it stormed onto Xbox just a couple of weeks back. And now we have DayD: Tower Rush.
Available right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S for just £8.39, DayD: Tower Rush is a tower defense affair in which you’ll need to make the most of some strategic calls and tactical ideals in order to save the world.
It has you joining a professor and his robotic assistant, travelling back in time to the land of the dinosaurs. It’s here where they come up against multiple opponents, many bosses and discover rare fossils. Powering through all that will be their only way home. Seeing as we’ve just come off the back of Gigantosaurus: Dino Sports, another dino-filled gaming experience is right up our alley.
