Paper Trail sends us off on a delicate paper adventure

We’ve played around with many a paper world in our time, but perhaps none have delivered such a delicate nature as that of Paper Trail.

Available right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Paper Trail is a top-down puzzle adventure from the Newfangled Games team. It whisks us off to a world made of paper, as we are left to fold it this way and that, all as a journey unfolds.

An adventure that unfolds

If you’re not an Xbox player, you will also find Paper Trail on the stores of PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC, as well as through Netflix Games.

It’s priced at £16.24 on Xbox as we join the life of Paige, a budding academic who is found leaving home for the first time. It’s here where her world adventures await, pathways building as you fold the land around, solving puzzles as you go.

The rotation of the Paper Trail world will be where secrets await, as you twist, contort and spin things at will. And it’s that place which will have you attempting to best navigate some of the deepest, darkest of caves. As well as working across treetops and more.

With a visual style that will delight, Paper Trail could well be a beautiful little playthrough. We’ll find out for sure in review.

Edit: Our full review of Paper Trail on Xbox is live. Give it a read.
