Snowed under with all those Black Friday deals? Let us recap the best Xbox One and Xbox 360 news, reviews and videos from the last week!

We won’t bore you with all that Black Friday nonsense, but instead will happily point you towards an article that all those without Kinect for Xbox One may be interested in. We’re big fans of the motion and voice controls that Kinect brings to the next gen table and you should be getting in on the action too. With that in mind, we’ve taken a look at five reasons why Kinect for Xbox One should be right at the top of that Christmas list of yours. Did we miss anything out?

What we certainly didn’t miss out on though were reviews. We’ve had tons of them this week!

First one for the week came in the form of our Far Cry 4 thoughts. We loved Far Cry 3 (and indeed the series as a whole) and were wondering exactly how Ubisofts latest open world sandbox action adventure can top its predeccessor. It may not reinvent the wheel, but what it does do, it does bloody well indeed. If you’re looking for a game that is going to keep you going for months on end, Far Cry 4 should be one to think about!

Ubisoft have also given us the chance to check out Rabbids Invasion: The Interactive TV Show over the last week or so. It’s a million miles away from the gritty Far Cry, but if you have a fan of those raving Rabbids in the house and fancy a little bit of fun for ten minutes or so, then it’s worth checking out. Just don’t expect it to be a world beater.

Talking of games that aren’t world beaters, we have also brought you reviews this last week of Escape Dead Island – the filler between the two big Dead Island titles, MX vs ATV Supercross and WWE 2K15. We can’t say any of them set our world on fire, with WWE not even being able to fill a huge wrestling fan with anything but hope. You may as well have a read of the reviews anyways; even if it’s so you don’t waste that hard earned money!

Our final review of the week saw James take in the latest Telltale Games story adventure. Tales from the Borderlands is set once again on Pandora but has now been hit with a bit of the old Telltale magic stick, bringing something entirely different, but instantly familiar, to the world of Borderlands. Have a read of our review and then get downloading!

If you’re still not convinced, there’s a launch trailer (along with all our other fav videos from the week) just below….

Before we go, let us point you in the direction of the latest news in regards to Sunset Overdrive, details of the latest FIFA 15 patch and of course the very latest news in regards to Ubisoft, Assassin’s Creed Unity and the ‘how to claim a free game’ saga.

Oh, and don’t forget there will soon be a couple of new free games given away to all Xbox Live Gold subscribers with Games With Gold for December – you’ll probably be able to grab them by the time you are reading this!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
