We’ve played a ton of sokoban-styled block pushers over the years, with 2024 itself welcoming in SokoFrog, Sokobalien, Sokomage, Sokolab and more. But now there’s another – SokoPenguin.
Slip and slide as a penguin
We don’t think we need to tell you what is going on in SokoPenguin, as the title of the game pretty much sums things up. But hey, we’ll do it anyways as the game releases on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
It’s from Eastasiasoft (of course it is, this is standard EAS fare) as they take the creation of Vergiu Games and push it out to the gaming masses. Running as a chill, pretty relaxing little platformer, SokoPenguin will see you landing in a pixel-arted world, left to take on the role of a little penguin trying to reach his igloo. He’ll do so by pushing blocks, opening up his path.
100 levels await in SokoPenguin, each increasing in difficulty until that little penguin reaches their goal. Should be simple enough, no?
