Soviet Project
Soviet Project – available on Xbox

Having previously been available on PC, mobile and Nintendo Switch, it’s time for the Soviet Project to play out on Xbox.

Atmospheric horror

Upwards of ten hours of play is promised in Soviet Project, as it brings a bit of mystical horror to the Xbox world. With a price of £8.39 in place at the Xbox Store, with play then taking place on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S, that feels like some decent cash to content ratios.

In Soviet Project you’ll be whisked off to a late USSR land; atmospheric, mysterious, full of exploration opportunities. It’s here where you’ll walk in the shoes of an ordinary person, one who has missed out on a city evacuation. From there, you’re left to try and get to grips with what is going on in the world, and how you can get the hell out of there.

Created by 17Studio, Soviet Project is a bit of an intriguing one. There’s no doubt that there’s some proper horror going on in here, and it should be that atmospheric feel that draws players in. With the further promise of multiple endings, the chance to visit various locales and more, anyone with a hint of interest should probably jump in.
