Forza Horizon 5 Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges Guide Series 37 – Autumn

-

Series 37 continues in Forza Horizon 5 and the theme for this series is still “High Performance Dailies”. After the success of last week (for the first time ever, I got a series car in the first week!), I’m all in for the second week. I wonder what we will see?

Well, whatever turns out to be in store, I’m here with all the tunes and cars you’ll need to complete this week’s festivities, those found in the Forza Horizon 5 Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges for Series 37 Autumn and then into Winter and Spring, eventually.

For now, let’s crack on with Series 37 Autumn’s finest…

Part 1: Weekly Car Challenge – Holden On

The subject of this week’s car challenge is the 2014 HSV Gen-F GTS, an Australian car that looks and feels like it epitomises the Aussie mindset – simple and brutal!

Should you not have one already, go and buy it from the Autoshow – they will exchange it for 75,000 of your credits. I have a tuned version available – 131502815 – if you need a bit of speed in your life!

Chapter 1 – Aussie Rules

Get in your new car, take it for a spin.  Step one complete.

Chapter 2 – Touring, Sport and Track

Now simply win a road race, whichever takes your fancy! I like the Horizon Oval as it is short.

Chapter 3 – Torque Vectoring

Get a total of six stars at speed zones. The one at the main Festival site is nice and short.

Chapter 4 – Supercharged

Now hit the highway and maintain a speed over 170 mph for 10 seconds.

Complete these tasks and we will be five points closer to the seasonal prizes that are up for grabs with Forza Horizon 5’s Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges for Series 37.

Part 2: Weekly Challenges, Championships and PR Stunts

With the weekly challenge done and dusted, let’s dive into the rest of the mayhem on offer.

The Trial, only one Eventlab, PR Stunts, races – that’s what you are getting with Series 37 Autumn.

The Trial – City Rush

It’s time for The Trial – and you know what that means? Yeah, we give up trying to find clean racers…

This week the theme is “Daily Drivers” and the tuning limit is B Class 700 – So I went with a Volvo V60, share name V60 with the GT Red620Ti.

Let’s hope the racing gods smile down on us this week, as we attempt to win an Audi RS6.

Eventlab 1 – GTDENY Presents Hill Valley Rally

The class here is Classic Rally, and the class is B 700 – Just right for an Escort, the #5 from 1977. Share code for mine is : 793610371.

A good track with the feel of an RAC rally stage about it, just be careful on the corners as the track is built above the landscape – it is possible to fall off!

A VW Golf R 2010 is the prize.

PR Stunt 1 – Speed Trap – Bulevar

This week, all the PR stunts need the same car, an A Class 800 Modern Muscle Car. As always, the answer is a Mustang, and I used a Shelby GT500 from 2013, share code : 402868577.

We need to zoom past the camera at over 160 mph.

Do so and you’ll find a Super Wheelspin heading your way in return.

PR Stunt 2 – Speed Trap – Northern Passage

Same car needed here, and the target is 170 mph. Seems oddly precise!

Another Super Wheelspin awaits.

PR Stunt 3 – Speed Zone – Ringroad

Same car yet again, and the target here is 92 mph through the zone, on average.

Yet another Super Wheelspin. Sigh.

Seasonal Championship 1 – B Fast B Furious

Modern Sports Cars and a limit of B Class 700 means only one thing – a Subaru BRZ (in my book, anyway!). The share code for mine is :139235813. This is the 2013 model, for the avoidance of doubt.

For winning out, we can take home a Lotus Exige.

Seasonal Championship 2 – Saloon go Vroom

We need to grab a Super Saloon car, tune it to A Class 800 and go racing. I went with an Audi RS6 Avant (we’ll gloss over the fact it isn’t a saloon for now) and the share code is : 736888629.

The prize for winning is a Mercedes Benz SLK.

Part 3: Other Challenges

A good mix of things to try this week, with a photo, a smash challenge and some co-op racing to try.

Photo Challenge – #TOURINGCAR

Take a photo of any Ford Focus at the Horizon Tour sign up location. Seems almost too easy…

Enjoy my artistic effort up at the top of this piece. The location you need to be in is below. And while you’re there, tick off the Tour challenge!

The reward? Some White Bird Leather Boots. Sounds awesome.

Collectibles – Lunch Break

Now for some jolly smashing fun!

We need to smash 6 Business Suit Tanks near the Urban Cross Country course in Guanajuato. I’ll post a pic of what we are looking for and the general area below.

Should we do this, we will be rewarded to the tune of an Ice Cream Van horn.

Horizon Tour – Co-op Championships

Time for some jolly cooperation now, as we attempt to beat driverbots in a series of races, interspersed by some light point to point against the other humans.

I can’t give you a car or tune as it could be any class, but they aren’t usually too taxing.

Take home 8 points for winning out. That’s nearly as many as the Trial!

Part 4: Hot Wheels Events

If you have the Hot Wheels expansion and are an Elite Level player, then you get to enjoy a couple of extra events.

Seasonal PR Stunt – Speed Zone – Supersonic Rush

Sports Utility Heroes and B Class 700 are the constraints this time, and so I went for a stock Maserati Levante, as it is practically at the tuning limit. A stock Porsche Macan is another good choice.

We need to hit over 110 mph through the zone on average to win out.

A Super Wheelspin is your reward.

Seasonal Championship – Hyped Up

Hypercars tuned to S2 Class 998 means this is going to be a fast race! I went for my fave, the Koenigsegg Agera RS and the share code is : 109282883.

Completing the championship will get us a Ford Falcon.

Part 5: Rally Adventure Events

The Rally Adventure expansion brings even more events to the roster and provided you are already a Horizon Badlands champion, you’ll get access to the following couple of events…

Seasonal PR Stunt – Speed Trap – Canyon Rush

Same car rules means the same car as earlier!

We need to hit the trap at over 125 mph to win. A good run up from the south makes it easy.

The prize is another Super Wheelspin. How many of these things is it possible to stack up?

Seasonal Championship – Cantera Commute

We need a High Performance Daily here, with AWD, tuned to B Class 700. Luckily I usually bang AWD on my tunes, so it should be okay!

I went with a Volvo V60, share name V60 with the GT Red620Ti.

The reward for racing? An BMW X5M.

The rewards for Series 37 and Autumn in Forza Horizon 5

With Series 37 just kicking off, it’s time to tempt you with what the Series has in store. And this time they are the BMW M2 ‘23 for 80 points and a Lucid Air for 160 points.

Even more Rivals circuits have now been added with Series 37 – and we are back to the full 4 for this month. These are El Piplia Scramble, Bola Ocho Circuit, Gran Pantano Sprint and Dunas Blancas Sprint for those who prefer their cars to be battery powered.. Turn in clean laps on each track to earn a massive four points to the weekly totals. Sadly not four for each, as they seem to suggest!

Grab enough points and Series 37 Autumn also sees you given access to the exclusive Yoyoya Camry ‘23 for 20 points. Additionally, for 40 points we can get the Lexus LC 500 ‘21 a hard to find car.

Tune in at the same time next week for Series 37 Winter tips, as the High Performance Dailies Series continues.

To enjoy these events in the Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges, you’ll need a copy of Forza Horizon 5. It’s available on Game Pass, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC and on the cloud via mobile. The Xbox Store will sort you out with a download.

Let us know in the comments if I have helped, hindered or missed the mark with these tunes.
